An under-desk drawer saves desktop space only if it does not crowd the person using the desk. Measure the underside, attachment area and knee clearance before ordering. A desktop organizer is an alternative when the underside is unsuitable.
Check the actual tray
The blue tray is approximately 22.5 × 8.7 × 3.5 cm. Confirm the mounting method and whether the desk material supports it. A drawer’s opening movement also needs clearance, not just its closed footprint.

Compare the tradeoff
The wood-tone organizer occupies approximately 28 × 26 × 30 cm above the desk. It avoids an under-desk fitting problem but uses working surface. Neither choice is automatically better.
Check the desk with someone seated
Measure knee clearance and the space needed to open the tray while the desk is in normal use. A fitting that works on an empty desk may interfere with the person or existing controls. Choose an above-desk alternative when the underside is unsuitable.
The buying decision
Choose the location that preserves comfortable use of the desk.
